SO WHAT IS IN THE PACKAGE We offer a 3 week intensive programme working with one of our Gas Safe Engineers. Your Gas engineer will work with you for the full 3 weeks and will help you develop your portfolio by:
- Taking photos for your portfolio
- Helping you with all the paperwork to ensure it is 100% correct
- Signing off your work with their gas safe number
- You can email questions 24hr a day
- You can call your Engineer for advice by phone at any time between 9am to 5pm (Mon to Fri)

They will cover the following with you as a minimum but will always try and exceed this amount.

LANDLORD GAS SAFETY CHECKS

INSTALLATION PIPE DEFECTS
(Over the course of the 3 weeks we will help you identify any pipe faults that may be found)

TIGHTNESS TESTING
To ensure that the meter, gas pipework and appliances are safe.

GAS ESCAPES
Due to our current contacts we are regauarly attending gas emergency call outs. We also have a network of Gas safe engineers who run their own gas safe companies that call us when they have Gas escape calls. (Subject to workload)

PURGING
To carefully calculate the volume of the pipework for safe removal of all air from the system.

METER REGULATOR SETTINGS CHECK
To test the meter regulator is working correctly.

FLUE FLOW TEST + SPILLAGE TESTS
COMBUSTION FLAME PICTURES
GAS RATES
OPERATING PRESSURES AT APPLIANCES
VENTILATION CHECKS
COMBUSTION PERFORMANCE ANALYSER CHECKS

CONTROL FAULTS
Due to variety of work we do, on most occasions we'll come across an unexpected control fault and will always try and show you these (three)

The gas engineer will also work with you to understand the gas industry unsafe situations and how this works in every day work

HOW DO WE ENSURE YOU COVER EVERY JOB REQUIRED FOR THE PORTFOLIO?

We have a network of Gas Engineers who work with us to ensure that every job needed for the portfolio is covered. We also have contracts with Letting agents, landlords and the general public so we have a wide variety of jobs at any one time. Once you have completed your portfolio you can go back to your training college and ask to book your CCN1 Gas exam.
